3 Sausage Boss Beer Cheddar sausages
-
1 cup fried onions

1 cup homemade cheese sauce
-
Buns of choice (e.g., brioche, potato)

-
Grill or Pan Fry sausages over medium heat until heated through and nicely charred (about 10-15 minutes).

- Shred 1 Cup Cheddar Cheese and 1 Cup Cooper Sharp Cheese.
- Start a roux by adding 2 tbsp of butter to a small sauce pan, add flour and stir with a whisk. Add your milk and stir until heated up.
- Slowly add in your Cheddar Cheese & Cooper Sharp Cheese.
- Mix the cheese sauce until it is smooth and your desired thickness.
- Add Salt, Pepper and Onion Powder to taste.
- Assemble: Add the sausage to your buns, followed by your fried onions and lastly your cheese sauce.
Try it with a smoked sausage for extra flavor. Great with a cold IPA or amber ale.
You could even add beer to the cheese sauce for an extra beer flavor in these.
